Every Thursday until the week of BREAK YOU’s release, which is November 8th, there will a new author here answering some Would You Rather questions. The reason is, you guessed it, there’s a Would You Rather scene in BREAK YOU. While that scene gets a little smexy…the questions for this section on the blog will not be. Sorry guys!

For our first Would You Rather installment, welcome Alyssa Rose Ivy!
1) Would you rather pan handle $200 from complete strangers or borrow $1000 from your friends?
I’d rather borrow from friends and return with interest and a thank you gift.
2) Would you rather get caught checking out a stranger or caught lying to a friend?
I’d definitely rather get caught checking out a stranger. Hopefully he’d take it as a compliment!
3) Would you rather dump someone else or be the person getting dumped?
I’d rather be dumped. I don’t do well with guilt from hurting someone.
4) Would you rather have an extra finger or lose a finger?
I’d rather have an extra finger.  I’d hate to lose one.
5) Would you rather spend 48 straight in a public restroom or spend the next two month taking only public transportation.
I’d rather spend two months taking public transportation. I’m not a fan of public restrooms.

The Hazards of Skinny Dipping
This isn’t a deep book about first loves or self-discovery. If you want a book like that, I’d be happy to recommend one, but I don’t have that kind of story to tell. Instead my story is about rash decisions and finding out that your dream guy is bad in bed. It’s the story of when I finally went skinny dipping, and how my life was never the same again. Oh, and it’s also the story of my freshman year of college and realizing Mr. Right might have been there all along.
Alyssa Rose Ivy is a New Adult and Young Adult author who loves to weave stories with romance and a southern setting. Although raised in the New York area, she fell in love with the South after moving to New Orleans for college. After years as a perpetual student, she turned back to her creative side and decided to write. She lives in North Carolina with her husband and two young children, and she can usually be found with a cup of coffee in her hand.
