Another Friday has come! This week I was finally able to get enough time to sit down and finish Rival Demons by the talented Sarra Cannon. And I have to say, I was a little skeptical on the twist this book had in the beginning due to where the previous book left off, but Mrs. Cannon pulled it off very well! I am anxiously awaiting the final instalment of the Peachville High Demons series.

And now on to what I am currently reading–Blood Will Tell by Samantha Young. I’ve said before that I really enjoy Samantha Young’s writing style. I’ve only read two of her novels so far (Smokeless Fire and Drip Drop Tear Drop) but I loved them! I have the Lunarmorte Series on my kindle and am anxious to read them. I’ll get to them soon I’m sure, especially now that I’ve finished with the Marked Duology series and feel comfortable reading about werewolves without it having any influence in my story. I have SO many werewolf books that I want to read! Most of them are sitting on my kindle, too! Untouched. It’s a tragedy really.

Okay, back to Blood Will Tell. I’m loving the beginning so far. Samantha Young has a very vivid way of writing. Wonderful!

Here is the first sentence of the novel:

Her brother, Stellan, was always telling her curiosity killed the cat.

I have a feeling this story is going to become another favorite.

Happy Reading everyone!
